Patrick Scara, LMFTA
Hello:
However it is that you have found me; “Welcome”. Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself and my approach to therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families in helping them to bring tools and a healthier perspective to the relationships they are hoping to navigate better in their lives.
Regardless of whether or not you know the origin of your difficulties, we all tend to stay stuck in our patterns. After a while, those patterns become what we see in ourselves, what others tend to see in us, and what we see in others. The patterns become our identities. We find ourselves stuck with these identities without having made a conscious choice in the matter.
These identities seldom represent who we truly are or who we are meant to be. They often do not represent our experiences, perspectives, values, and realities accurately.
My fresh perspective as a clinician, who over the past four years has served an extremely diverse clientele, will assist you in surfacing your true identity with vigorous loyalty, compassionate patience, and caring acceptance.
I will offer you, your partner, and your family a collaborative, and flexible therapy style that can easily be tailored to honor your needs and help guide you to the meaning and function you wish to have in your life.
Therapy is about taking the responsibility of reclaiming the story and direction of your life so that you create its meaning. Peeling back the constraining dominant messages we receive from our culture, government, families, employers, etc. empowers us to understand better and then work towards empowering ourselves to make the choices “we” choose. Therefore, helping us connect to the life we were meant to have. It is a courageous act to seek counseling, and it is just the beginning of your hero’s journey to true being, wholeness, and meaning.
I look forward to meeting you. I will honor where you are in your life right now and help you to find “your” path toward greater fulfilment.
