My name is Meghan. Priority on mental health is starting to take the front seat in our culture, and it is a great time to kick start transforming your life. Stigmas that once stood in the way of people getting the help they really need are starting to fade into the background.
Why is focusing on mental health important? Just as our physical bodies need to be in tune, so do our minds. Sure – they can operate independently, but we are at our best when they work together. Imagine being on a teeter totter with no partner? Exhausting. Striking a balance is key to overall health and well being.
Perhaps you are facing a life transition, a loss, a life changing diagnosis, changes in your family, sudden overwhelming anxiety or feeling sad and blue and can’t figure out the cause. My hope as your counselor is to work with you to unpack concerns and shed light on behaviors and habits and give you the tools to take small steps towards change. My approach is very customized based on what you are personally going through and I like to view the entire picture of your life for optimal support.
I have 10+ years providing therapy in medical and non-medical settings, facilitating groups, providing educational training and workshops & supporting individuals and families facing serious illness.
I genuinely look forward to hearing your story and supporting you as you are.
