Molly McCormack

Certified Counselor

As a Pacific Northwest native, I find restoration and perspective in nature. Whether mountain biking, skiing, or hiking, simply spending time outdoors reminds me that growth happens one step at a time. While we cannot always control circumstances, we can learn new ways to respond, heal, and move forward. I bring that same philosophy into the counseling relationship—meeting clients where they are and supporting meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for them.

Professionally, I have spent more than two decades serving others in a variety of roles, including law enforcement, emergency medical services (EMT), National Ski Patrol, crisis response counseling for 988, and higher education.

Life rarely unfolds in a straight line. Like many individuals I have worked with, I have experienced both profound joy and significant challenges. These experiences have taught me that adversity is part of being human—and healing, growth, and resilience are possible.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating a difficult life transition, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. My counseling approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic. I draw from evidence-based practices designed to fit your therapeutic goals and needs. I also utilize Gottman Method Couples Therapy, for clients seeking relationship support; and I am trained in ERP (exposure and response prevention) to treat OCD and severe anxiety. Together, we will develop practical tools that support lasting wellness; it is not about “fixing what’s wrong with you”—it’s about creating space to better understand yourself, overcome obstacles, and build the life you want to live.
